FOR ORGANISATIONS

If your board asked you to demonstrate your organisation's AI governance
capability today — what would you show them?

Your Leaders are Using AI Every Day.

Who is Accountable For Those Decisions?

Most organisations have AI tools.
Very few have the leadership governance to match.

The Human Layer is a 20-day professional formation programme that builds verifiable AI governance
capability across your entire leadership cohort — from manager level through to executive.

Not compliance training. Not a policy document.

A structured, CPD-accredited formation programme that changes
how your leaders think, decide and hold accountability over AI.
Permanently.

Discovery calls are 30 minutes. No obligation.
We will tell you exactly whether this programme is right for your organisation.

The Governance Gap is NOT in your AI Tools. It is in your Leadership Layer.

Your leaders are receiving AI-generated recommendations every day.

They are acting on outputs from systems they did not design, do not fully understand, and cannot always explain.

When something goes wrong and in any organisation operating at scale with AI, something will - the question will not be what the system did.

The question will be what the leader did.

Who reviewed that output? Who challenged it? Who held accountability for the decision that followed?

In most organisations right now, no one can answer those questions with confidence.

That is not a technology failure. It is not a policy failure.

It is a leadership governance failure — and it exists at every level of your management structure. Compliance training does not close this gap. It teaches people what the rules are. It does not form the judgement, the challenge behaviour, or the accountability culture that genuine AI governance requires. The Human Layer closes this gap through leadership formation — structured, daily, applied, and audit-ready.

A Verifiable Governance Audit Trail
Across Your Entire Leadership Structure

The Human Layer is built on a three-tier credential architecture that maps directly to your leadership hierarchy.

Each tier produces a Certificate of Completion and a CPD-accredited record of formation - creating a documented, verifiable governance capability trail that your board can see, your auditors can reference and your leaders can stand behind.

CAGL

For Your Executive Team
All 3 Phases: Full Programme (Days 1–20)

This three-tier structure creates what no compliance training can: a leadership cohort where every level has a verifiable, CPD-accredited record of governance formation - mapped to their role, their responsibilities and the decisions they are accountable for.

Compliance Training Teaches Leaders What the Rules Are. Formation Changes How They Lead.

There is no shortage of AI governance compliance training.
Courses that explain the EU AI Act, the Australian AI framework, data privacy obligations, and risk categorisation.

These programmes have their place and they are not what The Human Layer is.

Compliance training produces knowledge.
It does not produce judgement. It does not build the habit of challenge.
It does not form the accountability culture that survives contact
with a real AI-generated recommendation under time pressure.

The Human Layer is a formation programme.
Every day is structured around the reflect–practice–integrate cycle.
Leaders are not taught about governance. They are formed into governance-capable leaders — through structured reflection on their own practice, real-world leadership tasks completed with their actual teams and daily CPD evidence documentation that creates a genuine audit record, not a box-ticking exercise.

The result is not a cohort that has passed a governance test.

It is a cohort that governs — and can demonstrate it.

Designed by Someone Who Has Been Inside Your Problem

"Leadership accountability in the age of AI is not a technology problem — it is a governance and formation problem."

Karen Bachmann

Founder, Veritex Spark™ | Programme Author

Karen has spent three decades designing the systems and programmes that make organisations accountable - in government, regulated industries and elite higher education.

  • As Director of King's Online at King's College London, she designed and scaled online professional education across nine faculties.
  •  As Deputy Director of Workforce Australia, she led workforce planning across Queensland's community services and health sectors, reporting directly to the Australian National Training Authority, informing national training expenditure and skilled migration policy
  • Karen co-authored an evidence-based training programme: Fostering Changes - published in English and German - and delivered across England and within the UK, Europe and Australia as part of her role with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN).
  • She led taxation compliance implementation in regulated industries and built training systems and programmes for high-stakes environments including for the London 2012 Olympics and Westfield, Stratford construction sites.

Karen devised The Human Layer because every organisation she has worked in or with is now navigating the same unresolved question: who is accountable when an AI makes a recommendation that drives a consequential decision?

The answer is always a leader and most leaders are not yet formed to carry that accountability with confidence.

The Human Layer is the programme she wished existed. It is built with the same evidence-based rigour she has applied across thirty years of professional formation design.
